Lawson is a New York native, primarily working in theater, with credits including lead roles in adaptations of the classics Othello (The Secret Theater, NY), A Soldier’s Story (South Oxford Space, NY) and The Colored Museum (Paul Robeson Theater, NY), as well as contemporary works like Coyote Dreams (Actor’s Fund Arts Center, NY) and Marry Me (Roy Arias Theater, NY). He debuted as the lead in While You Were Preaching at the Newark Symphony Hall in the Fall of 2016.

    Growing up, Aminah was inspired by the style and fashion of her mother, Chestine Lopez, whose​ style was, to say the least, unusual. As a​ result,  Aminah craves thinking outside of the box and brings an eclectic taste to her career as a Costume Designer and Wardrobe Stylist, working to create costumes for films, theatre, commercials​ and fashion shows, both in the U.S and abroad. Most recently, Aminah’s worked on the highly anticipated upcoming feature films, Ocean’s Eight.

Since then, Tess has been working in the AD department on feature films such as Barry (2016), Monster (2017), Roxanne, Roxanne (2017) and Coin Heist (2016) and alongside actors including Jennifer Hudson, Liv Tyler, Nas, A$AP Rocky and Anya-Taylor Joy.

Her most recent film, The Girl Who Invented Kissing, will be premiering at Tribeca Film Festival in April 2017. Miranda is determined to use her experience to produce projects with socially-impactful content.

Most recently, Xavier wrapped as an Editor on Trial By Fury (2016, Official Selection – American Documentary Film Festival), The Best Last Best Plane Ride Ever (2016, Official Selection – Tribeca Film Festival), and New York I Love You (2016, Official Selection – New York African Film Festival; BAM’s New Voices in Black Cinema).
